It had been ages since my last visit, and I truly regret it—I should have come back much sooner. We were greeted warmly and the décor was pure Brussels charm. The menu offers plenty of choices: to start, the scallops with chicory were absolutely delicious—the sauce was heavenly. For the main course, the carbonnades were so tender the meat fell off the fork, and they were superb. A gigantic dame blanche capped off the meal perfectly. Our friends tried the kidneys, meatballs in tomato sauce, and hanger steak, and everyone raved about their dishes. All in all, a fantastic spot—but be sure to book ahead, as it was full on Saturday night.
